The Varsity golf team headed to Saint Johns this morning to play the Emerald GC and compete in the final League Jamboree of the season.  The League championship was on line today for the six schools competing, 

On a beautiful sunny, warm and windy day the Bulldogs again finished fifth with a team total of 405.  Portland won today's Jamboree along with taking home the League Championship shooting a 354 followed by Lansing Catholic Central with a 358, Charlotte with a 368 and Eaton Rapids with a 370. Sexton finished sixth with a 492. 

Freshman Hobbs Pinnow was medalist for the Bulldogs shooting an 88 with a 41 on front nine and 47 on the back nine.  This was an individual low for Hobbs as well as a team individual low.  This also earned Hobbs a spot on the CAAC White Leagues Honorable Mention Team. Well done and congratulations Hobbs!

Finishing out the scoring for the Bulldogs was Ryan Barna with a 102, Lane Thomas with a 104, Gunner Woods with a 111 and Alex Yakes and Cy Currigan with 118's. 

The Varsity team finishes out their season this Thursday against Lakewood at Morrison Lake CC with a tee time set at 3pm and then they compete in the State Regionals next Tuesday at Yankee Springs GC in Wayland teeing off at 9am.
