The Varsity and JV golf teams took to the links today on a cold and rainy afternoon.  The Varsity played at Groesbeck GC and the JV competed at the Falcon GC both in Lansing.  This was the teams fourth CAAC White League Jamboree which was hosted by Lansing Catholic Central. 

The Bulldogs shot a team total of 194 finishing in fifth place behind Portland (165), LCC (168), Charlotte (181)  and Eaton Rapids (185).  Sexton finished with a 243 in sixth place.

Alex Yakes was medalist for the Bulldogs with a 42, an individual low score for the team this season.  Alex's score was also fourth lowest for the entire Jamboree today.  Ryan Barna and Hobbs Pinnow shot 49's, Lane Thomas and Cy Currigan came in with 54's and Gunner Woods with a 55. 

The JV team competed with only three golfers today with Dalton Badder shooting a 51, followed by Sam Meyers with a 53 and Aden Wenzel with a 54. 

The Varsity record for the season is 6-22 while the JV is at 6-5.

The Bulldogs host the sixth CAAC White Jamboree on Wednesday of next week at Shadow Ridge golf course with the tee time set for 3:30pm.  The Varsity also competes next Friday at the Hastings Invitational.
