This afternoon the boys varsity and junior varsity golf teams took to the course for their first conference jamboree  of the season.  This consisted of all teams in the conference competing which included the Bulldogs, Lansing Catholic Central, Portland, Eaton Rapids, Charlotte and Sexton. 

The Varsity team played at Bonnie View GC in Eaton Rapids.  On a cold and blustery afternoon the Bulldogs finished fourth in the Jamboree with a team total of 219. Alex Yakes was medalist for the Bulldogs with a 52 and Evan Nummer was close behind with a 54.

The Junior Varsity team played at Maple Brook GC in Charlotte.  The Bulldogs finished third in their Jamboree, which consisted of a seven hole match instead of the traditional nine hole match with a team total of 178. Hobbs Pinnow was medalist with a 39. 

Both Bulldog teams return to action Saturday at the Ionia County Shoot Out which is an eighteen hole tournament held at 9am at Morrison Lake Country Club in Saranac.
