HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 37
The Varsity girls basketball team traveled to Hastings tonight and came home with a nice victory. Beating Hastings 49-37. Leading the bulldogs with leadership on both ends of the floor was Junior Aubree White with 19 points. She was 10 for 14 from the free throw line. She also had 7 rebounds, 3 steals and an assist. Freshman Logan Thomas added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Senior Emma White played big in the middle for us and added 7 points, 2 rebounds and an assist. Freshman Avery Hoppough added 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Sophomore Tessa Lemke had 4 points and 2 rebounds. Sophomore Josie Lee chipped an a free throw and played great on the defensive end with 2 steals. The bulldogs are now 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the league. They take the floor again at home on Friday, January 5th against Olivet playing at 5:30 p.m.
