EVERETT HIGH SCHOOL: 19.00
The girls varsity basketball team opened their season with a win. They defeated the Everett Vikings 63-19. It was a balanced attack. Nine of the thirteen girls scored. Leading the bulldogs was junior Aubree White with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 steals. Sophomore Tessa Lemke added 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Freshman Avery Hoppough added 10 points, had 3 rebounds and had 3 steals. Sophomore Alexias Daugherty had 8 points and 3 steals. Senior Emma White had 6 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Freshman Logan Thomas had 5 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Freshman Bella Delgado chipped in 4 points and had 3 rebounds. Senior Lily Reams had 2 points and 2 rebounds. Sophomore Josie Lee had 2 points and 2 steals. The bulldogs will take the floor again this Friday, December 8 at 5:30 pm against the Greyhounds of Eaton Rapids, our first conference game.
