The Ionia girls bowling team came away with at 20-10 win over the Eagles of Olivet tonight at Char-Lanes.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 545 pins to Olivet’s 499 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Lena Cox’s 194 followed by Adah Drown’s 131. In match #2 Ionia totaled 570 pins to Olivet’s 521 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Lena Cox’s 194 followed by Adah Drown’s 126. Ionia won the series 1115 to 1020.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Eagles 204 to 197.

The varsity girls are now 4-2 overall and 4-2 in the league. The girls will travel to Sparetime to take on the Cougars of Lansing Catholic on Thursday.
