IHS Weekly Athletic Schedule 6/6-6/11

It was another busy weekend for our high school teams as our track and field athletes competed in the MHSAA Division 2 State Finals and we played host to the MHSAA baseball and softball districts.  A huge thank you to our softball and baseball coaches, staff members, and volunteers who helped us pull off these MHSAA events.  I appreciate all the extra effort our coaching staffs put in to help get our fields in great shape!

Congratulations to the District Champion Ionia softball team who defeated Portland 12-9 in extra innings to win our programs 4 district title.  The girls now advance to the MHSAA regional at Chelsea.  District games recap.

Congratulations to Josiah Magley who finished 8th in the 3200 meter run at the MHSAA State Finals Saturday earning all-state honors.  Boys results and girls results from Saturday’s track and field state finals!
