The Ionia Girls Track and Field Team qualified 10 Girls into a total of 7 events for Tuesday’s Greater Lansing  Honor Roll Meet of Champions.  This Elite event was held at Lansing Waverly High School on Tuesday June 1, 2021.  There were no team scores at this meet.  The following girls Qualified and Participated: Angelyn Hyde (4 X 400, 4 X 800, and 400M Dash), Maddie Hanulcik (4 X 400 and 4 X 800), Avery Roundtree (4 X 400 and 4 X 800), Clara Deeren (4 X 800), Madeline McGee (4 X 400), Tess Griffith (High Jump), Drew Wachowski (High Jump), Kassidy Casillas (High Jump and Long Jump), Brynn Reams (Shot Put and Discus), and Lilly Reams (Discus). 

Medalists for the Ionia Girls were as follows:

Bryn Reams 2^nd in the Shot Put (36’-5”) and 3^rd in the Discus (109’-2”)

Kassidy Casillas 5^th in the High Jump (4’-7”)

Tess Griffith 5^th in the High Jump (4’-7”)

The Girls have one remaining athlete who has qualified for the MHSAA State Finals on Saturday June 5, 2021.  The meet will be held at Zeeland East/West Athletic Stadium where Brynn reams will compete in both the Shot Put and Discus.  She will begin the meet at 9:30am by competing in the Shot Put.
