The Bulldog Girls finished first at the 8 team Alma Invitational on Friday May 14, 2021. Ionia scored 106 Points matching the 106 points earned by Ithaca, followed by Alma (95) , Big Rapids (66), Midland Bullock Creek (46), Lansing Everett (42), Montabella (32), and Newaygo (31).  The girls accumulated 16 individual  PR's, 3 Individual Season Records and improved in all 4 of the Relays.

4 X 200 Meter Relay: 2nd (1:56.21) team of: Madeline McGee, Maddie Hanulcik, Paige Castillo, and Angellyn Hyde

High Jump: Kassidy Casillas 3rd (4'-10"), and Tess Griffith 6th (4'-7")

The Ionia Girls have Now won 2 invitationals (the Bulldog relays and Alma), and finished 4th at the Charlotte and Shepherd Invitationals.  Their overall Dual Meet Record is 5-1 and they are 5-0 in the CAAC White Division. The next two meets for Ionia will be a JV Championship Style meet in St. Johns on Monday May 17th and the Varsity will travel to Forest Hills Eastern on Friday May 21, 2021 to compete in the Division II Region 13 Championship Meet with a number of girls poised to qualify for the MHSAA State Meet in June.
