The Boys Track and Field Team competed at the Greater Lansing Honor Roll meet at Lansing Waverly High School on Tuesday May 31, 2022. The Honor Roll meet features the top High School athletes in each of the 17 normally contested events throughout the Greater Lansing Area. The athletes have to qualify to compete in this individual (Non-Team) event. The schools competing were from all for Divisions and various Athletic Conferences from the mid-Michigan area.
The Ionia Boys qualified for 11 of 17 events making a good showing. The Ionia Boys earned medals in 8 of the events they competed in with a total of 2 PR’s; Travis Tucker in the 200 and the Boys 4 X 200 Relay.
The Ionia Boys are next in competition on Saturday June 4th at Forest Hills Eastern for the MHSAA State Finals.
