The tonia Freshman boys defeated Tri County on Tuesday night 67- 43. After a close first half, the Dawgs pulled away in the second half thanks to good defense and rebounding.
Ionia was led in scoring by Dawson Leland with 20 points, followed by Caiden Sayers with 14. We played very unselfishly tonight and moved the ball well in the second half. Rounding out the scoring for Ionia was Nolan Hart with 6, Mason Braman with 5, Cole Peterson and Riley Yokom had 4 each, Carter Ralston and Jude Gregory both had 3, while Adam Kramer, Mason Clark, Nolan Perry, and Kendall Cusack all had 2.
Ionia hosts Sexton on Thursday. Game time is 5:30
