Ionia Freshmen Basketball won away against Portland 52-32. Ionia lead at half time 21-20 struggling to get anything going. Second half the Bulldogs scored 21 points in the 3rd Quarter to lock in their 12th win on the season. The Bulldogs were lead by Mason Doty with 12 pts, Carter Castillo, Hobbs Pinnow with 8 pts, Jacob Montgomery and Gage Flanner each with 6 pts, Max Doty with 5 pts, Tyson McDiarmid with 3 pts, Ellis Yokom, Kolson Daughtery and Aden Wenzel each with 2 pts. The Bulldogs play away against Charlotte on Thursday at 4 PM to finish out the season. Bulldogs are now 12-2 on the season.
