Ionia Freshmen Basketball won at home against Lansing Sexton 58-42. Ionia took the lead early and and finished the first half 32-17. Second half the Bulldogs knocked down (4) 3 pointers to start out the 3rd Quarter to lock in their 6th straight win. The Bulldogs were lead by Mason Doty with 16 pts, Carter Castillo 14 pts, Hobbs Pinnow and Matt McCoy each with 6 pts, Brennen Brownell, Jacob Montgomery and Max Doty each with 4 pts, Gage Flanner and Aden Wenzel each with 2 pts. The Bulldogs play away against Lansing Catholic on Tuesday at 4 PM. Bulldogs are now 6-1 on the season.
