Ionia Freshmen Basketball won against Portland 36-28 at Portland. Ionia was down in the first quarter 7-13 and took the lead going into half time 21-18. Second half the Bulldogs held their lead out scoring Portland 15-10 in the second half. The Bulldogs were lead by Carter Castillo with 10 pts, Mason Doty 9 pts, Hobbs Pinnow 8 pts, Matt McCoy 3 pts, and Brennen Brownell, Tyson McDiarmid, and Kolson Daugherty each with 2 pts. The Bulldogs play at 4 PM this Saturday at Home. Bulldogs are now 3-1 on the season.
