Ionia Freshmen Basketball won at home against Lansing Catholic 56-47. Ionia was down in the first quarter 12-14 and took the lead going into half time 31-27. Second half the Bulldogs went on a 17-8 run and never looked back. The Bulldogs were lead by Hobbs Pinnow with 14 pts, Mason Doty 13 pts, Carter Castillo 8 pts, Gage Flanner 7 pts, Jacob Montgomery 6 pts, Kolson Daugherty 3 pts, Tyson McDiarmid and Matt McCoy each with 2 pts. The Bulldogs play away in Eaton Rapids on Tuesday at 4 PM. Bulldogs are now 1-1 on the season.
