Ionia 3-5 loss vs Belding 

Tough loss to Belding tonight in a game we felt we should have won. We struggled for consistency and in the end that's what hurt us. We put ourselves in the hole by spotting them two goals in the first half but came back to within one. From there we tied and were playing pretty well but we had difficulty staying focused and they took advantage of the opportunities.

The final score did not do the game justice, but this is a young team that understands they can be competitive. We just need to continue to work hard and develop our “soft skills” like patience, focus, and game awareness. 

Despite the final score Caiden Sayers did another excellent job of filling in at the goalkeeper spot tonight.He had some pretty stellar saves. Scotti Kimber (Captain) led the way with two goals tonight with Derrick Santana (Captain) adding another. also, we saw another two goals from set plays tonight which goes to show how important those plays can be to a team's attacking capabilities.
