Ionia Junior Varsity Girls Golf traveled to Eaton Rapids today to compete in their first conference match of the season. Unfortunately, the match was cut short due to the heat, but the Bulldogs did manage to finish 5 holes. Through those 5, our top scorer for the day was Chloe Zander, with 14 over. The girls will play again next Tuesday, September 3 at home against Greenville.

Ionia’s top scorer was Sophia Fuller with a 63, followed by Chloe Zander with a 68, and Kayra Vasquez-Ybarra with a 78. The JV squad will play again next Tuesday, August 27 at Bonnie View golf course in Eaton Rapids in their first conference matchup.

Kayra Vasquez-Ybarra led the team with a score of 74, followed by Chloe Zander and Paige Sherman.
