The Ionia Middle School boys track team traveled to Pewamo-Westphalia on Thursday, May 27th to compete in the Last Chance Meet.  This meet provides athletes one last chance to set personal records and earn a spot at the Honor Roll meet.  The teams finished in the following order: Fowler (112.5), P-W (75), Central Montcalm (71.5), Ionia (71), Lansing Area Catholic (69), Alma (59), Capital Homeschool (32), Out Savior Lutheran (28), Chippewa Hills (5). 

The top 6 finishers in each event earn points for their team (10-8-6-4-2-1).  Scoring points for the Bulldogs were:

Braylon Granger - 2nd place finish in the 55m hurdles (9.13 PR),  3rd place finish in the 200m hurdles (30.83), and a 6th place finish in high jump (4'6).

Myles Perrien - 4th place finish in the 400m (1:01.24).

Caleb Shortz - 4th place finish in the 800m (2:33.73 PR).

Aden Smith - 4th place finish in the 55m hudles (10.12 PR), and 5th place finish in shot put (31' 10.5)

Wolton Sandborn - 4th place in the 70m dash (9.19 PR), 4th place in the 100m dash (12.29 PR), and a 5th place finish in pole vault (8'0).

Myles Perrien, Brent Starks, Scotti Kimber, Tristin Ciganick - 3rd place finish in the 4 x 100 relay (54.14).

Myles Perrien, Brent Starks, Tristin Ciganick, Henry Castle - 2nd place finish in the 4 x 200 relay (1:49.18).

Henry Castle - 3rd place finish in shot put (39' 3.5), and 2nd place finish in high jump (5'0).

Tristin Ciganick - 4th place finish in long jump (14' 7).

The Bulldogs will finish their season at home next Wednesday, June 2 against Charlotte.
