The IMS boys track team took home 1st place at the Ithaca Jr. High Relays on Thursday, May 6th.  Ionia scored 64 points, followed by Alma (63), Freeland (61), Ithaca (54), Central Montcalm (50), Chesaning (40), TS Nurnberger (17), and Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart (14).  It was another meet that came down to the wire, and your Bulldogs found the strength to pull out another victory.

Earning medals for the Bulldogs included:

1st place: The shot put team of Henry Castle and Aden Smith, with a combined throw of 72-6.00.

2nd place: The 4x200 relay team of Braylon Granger, Myles Perrien, Brent Starks, and Henry Castle (1:50.41), The 4x800 relay team of Gabe Rogers, Caleb Shortz, Elijah Peterson, and Evan Yenchar (11:29.94), The 4x55 shuttle hurdles team of Dawson Leland, Aden Smith, Caleb Shortz, and Braylong Granger (40.92), and the high jump team of Brent Starks and Braylon Granger, who both set PR's with their 4-08 jumps.  

3rd place: The 4x400 relay team of Dawson Leland, Myles Perrien, Evan Yenchar, and Henry Castle (4:24.54).

The Bulldogs will face Hayes Middle School next Wednesday, May 12 at Home.
