The IMS Boys Track team traveled to St. Johns on Wednesday, May 5 to open their 2021 season.  The boys took first place with 49 points, followed by St. Johns with 46, and Holt with 29.  It was a close meet all night long and came down to the last few races.  It was a great team effort by all the Bulldogs! 

Scoring 1st place points for the Bulldogs were: Caleb Shortz- 3200 meters (15:08), Braylon Granger-200m hurdles (31.51), the 4x100 relay team of Myles Perrien, Brent Starks, Tyson Brownell, and Tristin Ciganick (53.23), the 4x200 relay team of Myles Perrien, Brent Starks, Braylon Granger, and Henry Castle (1:51), and the 4x800 relay team of Gabe Rogers, Jaxxon Thelen, Elijah Peterson, and Evan Yenchar (11:57), and Henry Castle-shot put (37-11.25).

Scoring 2nd place points for the Bulldogs were: Tristin Ciganick - 200 m dash (27.83) and long jump (14-11.50, Caleb Shortz - 800 m (2:37) and 200 m hurdles (32.85), Aden Smith-shot put (33-00.75), and Brent Starks-high jump (4-06).

Scoring 3rd place pints for the Bulldogs were: Evan Yenchar-800 m (2.52), Dawson Leland-200m hurdles (33.80), and Braylon Granger-high jump (4-04).

The boys will travel to Ithaca on Thursday, May 6th to participate in the Ithaca Jr. High Relay Races.
