The Ionia girls beat the Greyhounds of Eaton Rapids 21-9 in their home opener at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 582 pins to Eaton Rapid’s 489 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Adah Drown’s 186 followed by Lena Cox’s 134. In match #2 Ionia totaled 481 pins to Eaton Rapid’s 489 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Lena Cox’s 122 followed by Adah Drown’s 111. Ionia won the series 1062 to 1051.
