Ionia Track and Field hosted the 2023 Ionia Bulldog Relays on Friday April 21, 2023. The Girls finished 4th out of 7 teams.  The team scores for the Girls side of the meet were as follows:

3. Chippewa Hills 79

4. Ionia 64

5. Three Rivers 60

5. Fowlerville 60

7. Grand Rapids Union 25

   The Ionia Girls medaled in 5 events with the following relay teams:

Third place finishes for the Shot Put Relay of Lilly Reams and Savannah Clark with a combined throw of 57’-6.75” and the 4 X 100 Relay team of Ella Udell, Mimi Wegener, Hailey Fuentes, and Tess Griffith with a time of 56.56 seconds. A second place finish by the Discus Relay team of Lilly Reams and Savannah Clark with a combined throw of 164’-8” .  The Ionia Girls had 2 First Place finishes in the Pole Vault and High Jump. In the Pole Vault Mimi Wegener and Tess Griffith had a combined total height of 16’-0” and Tess Griffith and Ella Udell cleared a combined height of 9’-0” in the High Jump.
