The Ionia Girls Track and Field team hosted the Bulldog Relays on Friday April 22, 2022.  The field was expanded above the normal 8 teams this year and we had 13 total teams competing.  The girls continued to battle throughout the meet despite the rain and falling temperatures.     The lady dogs were led by 3 first place relay finishes; The Mid Distance Medley Relay (Maddie Hanulcik [800], Madeline McGee [400], Josie Phelps [400], Angellyn Hyde [800]) in a time of   7:46.89.  The Pole Vault Relay (Tess Griffith [8’-0”] and Madeline McGee [7’-6”]) with a total height of 15’-6” and the High Jump Relay (Kassidy Casillas [4’-8”] and Tess Griffith [4’-6”]) with a total height of 9’-2”.  The hard work of the girls team at practice and meets continues to be rewarded based on their efforts.
