EATON RAPIDS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 29
Ionia 7th grade girls hosted Eaton Rapids for game 2 of the season and won 51-29. The Bulldogs opened it up in the 3rd quarter. After only leading by 9 at halftime, the Bulldogs outscored Eaton Rapids 21-4. Carmen Hoppough and Adelyse Perry led in scoring with 26 and 13. Lainey Bennett and Brooklyn Shattuck each had 5. Carmen Hoppough had 10 rebounds and Brooklyn Shattuck had 7. Ionia had 22 steals as a team. On Wednesday, January 29th, the Bulldogs will host Waverly at 4:30.
