LAKEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL: 54
Tonight the Bulldogs traveled to Lakewood for their first game of the season. The team started strong in the first quarter but gave up the lead late and trailed 10-16. The Bulldogs continued to play efficiently and were only down 17-22 going into the half. In the third quarter, Lakewood took advantage of our play and built their lead going into the fourth. Lakewood continued to put pressure on the Bulldogs and won 54-24. Leading scorers were Garrett Gorby with 9 points, Chase Reister with 8 points, Conner Vanallsburg had 4 points, Landon Gerstein had 2, and both Quintin Castillo and Tanner Batista had 1. The Bulldogs are now 0-1 on the season and play next week on Monday, November 11 at Lansing Catholic.
