The Ionia A Volleyball Team was ready! The Lady Dawgs took on Mason in a batlle that was not only exciting but showcased Ionia's strong serves. The first set was a close battle. Ionia's offense was led by consistent serving and controlled attacks that scored several points. Ionia won the first set 25-18. Ionia's momentum continued into the second set and the Lady Dawgs won 25-11. Ionia brought out the broom and swept Mason winning the final set 15-6. Ionia's servers were led by Amiah Frias, 15 service points, and Miah Wittenback 13 service points. It was great to see the girls work together and continue to build on positive things. Ionia is now 2-2 on the season and will take on their county rival on Monday. Come out and support your Bulldogs!
