PORTLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL : 1
The Ionia 8th Grade girls A volleyball team won against Portland tonight 25-21, 25-23, 8-15. The team played hard in their first match of the season. Leading servers for the team tonight were Ebony Williams, Grace Droste, and Gabbi Meyers. Kylie Leonard played a great game at the net and Ava Shinaver led the team defensively. The girls will face off against St. Johns on Wednesday, September 15th at home. The A team is 1-0.
