The 8th grade girls A volleyball team lost a heartbreaker to Portland tonight with the scores of 24-26, 23-25, and 15-10. The girls played hard with several long volleys with Portland. The team was led by excellent serving from Alexias Daugherty and Brosslyn Roberts. Layla Delnay, Hannah Shields and Molly Waterman had several kills on the night. The A team will travel to DeWitt on Monday, October 12th. The A team is now 2-3 on the season.
