The Ionia 9th Grade Girls Volleyball Team won both games in their tri-meet matchups on Thursday against Hastings and Portland St. Pats.   Against the Saxons the dawgs came out strong winning 25-12 and then had a streak of unforced errors in game two, but they were still able to pull out the win 25-21.  In the second match up of the night the bulldogs and shamrocks went point for point with the dawgs eventually pulling away to secure the win 25-22 and then 25-13.  

Danica White was strong on the net with 6 kills and 8 great passes.  Ariana Frias had 5 kills, 15 great passes, and 2 aces.  Marley Piselli had 3 kills, 5 great passes, and 1 ace.  Kaylynn Wizoreck had 5 aces.  Avery Hoppough had numerous assists, 4 aces, and 3 kills on the evening.  Bella Delgado had one of her best nights of the year moving her feet and getting sets to her hitters.  

The bulldogs are 19-8-1 going into their final tournament of the year on Saturday in Owosso.  Let's go BLUE!
