PORTLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The 9th grade Dawgs took Portland for the win in just two sets. During Game 1 the Raiders earned a small lead when Avery Hoppough stepped up to the service line and pushed the team to close the gap with 5 straight serves. The Bulldogs finally took the win 27-25.
In game two the bulldogs came out strong and the Raiders had a difficult time handling the bulldog services and defense. Kaylynn Wizoreck had 9 straight serves and 5 aces. She also gave the bulldogs two kills this evening. The bulldogs won 25-16.
Kaya Clark led the team with 5 great passes while Ariana Frias and Marley Piselli put up another 3 and Cora Nummer 2. Shiann Boer and Marley PIselli both had 3 kills, while Kaylynn Wizoreck and Brooklynn Burhans each had 2. The Bulldogs play a tri game on Thursday in Hastings. They are now 17-8-1.
