The 9th grade volleyball team lost a nail biter against Lansing Catholic Cougars in 3.  The Bulldogs lost game one 22-25, won the 2nd game 25-10, and then lost in the final game of the set 15-10.  Although the bulldogs did come home with the win tonight they are really coming on as a team.  The girls are consistently moving well on the court and digging up accurate balls to set the offense up.  

Avery Hoppough serve 100% tonight with a total of 15 serves in for Ionia.  Ariana Frias added another 12 and Kaylynn Wizorek had 9 with 3 aces.  Kaya Clark dug 2 hits while also grabbing 9 great passes.  Frias added another 8 and Hoppough an additional 6.  Shiann Boer had her best game of the season on the front net with 5 kills, while Marley Piselli added another 5 and Brooklynn Burhans had 4.

The Lady Dawgs will get their chance at a rematch next Tuesday night at Lansing Catholic.
