Ionia Freshman Win in Three Against Hastings and Fall to St Philip
On Thursday night the Ionia Freshman Volleyball Team traveled to a tri meet in Hastings. The lady dawgs fell short to St. Phillip losing two games 25-16 before winning against Hastings 25-10, 20-25, 15-10. Danica White led the Bulldogs with 6 aces for the evening, while Avery Hoppough contributed another 4. Ariana Frias had 4 kills followed by Shiann Boer with 3, and Marley Slater with 3. Kaya Clark had 14 great passes, while Avery Hopough had 9, Kaylee Stoakes had 8 and Danica White and Marley Slater both contributed 6.
THe bulldogs play again on Tuesday at Sexton.
