CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Ionia Freshman Volleyball team lost in 3 sets against the Charlotte Orioles. The Bulldogs came out strong in set 1 winning 25-21, then lost two close ones 21-25 and 15-12. Marley Piselli had 2 aces, and a kill tonight. She had several great hits but the orioles were able to dig them up. Avery Hoppough had 2 kills, Shiann Boer, Kaylee Stoakes, and Ariana Frias all added 1. Kaya Clark helped the bulldogs by making 10 great passes, while Kaylee Stoakes added 4, and Cora Nummer had 3. The Bulldogs are now 5-3-1. They play next on Thursday at a Tri match in Hastings.
