Ionia Freshman Volleyball team had a slow start today in a Tri meet with Tecumseh and Parma Western. Ionia lost the first game 4-25 and 14-25.%u201CWe just had a hard time finding any momentum and consistency in our serve receive%u201D said Coach Frias. During the second set of the evening the lady dawgs played against Parma Western and got beat out in two, 17-25 and 22-25. Danica White and Avery Hoppough were strong behind the service line. Kaylee Stoakes and Kaya Clark held the back row digging up anything that was pushed or hit over. While Ariana Frias held the front line. The Freshman Lady Dawgs will play next in Dansville on August 30, at 5:30.
