Tonight the Lady Dawgs welcomed the Landing Catholic Cougars for the final home match of te season. In the first set the Lady Dawgs started off with strong serves, while being aggressive on the net. The Cougars did not let up and fought hard against the Dawgs. The Lady Dawgs could not keep the ball in play, falling 23-25. 

In the second set the Lady Dawgs were pumped to serve first. This energy and momentum kept the Dawgs fighting. The serves were accurate the net was aggressive and there was a lot of team communication and overall strong play. The battle of serve and serve receive kept the points close, but the Lady Dawgs determined to win, became loud and aggressive! The Lady Dawgs won the second set 25-20. 

Going into the third and final set the Lady Dawgs were ready to bring home a win. The Lady Dawgs were able to keep the points close for a majority of the game but when the Lady Dawgs lost communication the Cougars took the win, the Dawgs fell 10-15. 

Overall the Freshman team had: 7 Aces, 4 Blocks, 12 digs, and 8 Kills. 

The Lady Dawgs are on the road to Lansing Sexton Thursday October 28th 5pm.
