With high hopes for the home match against the Portland Raiders the Freshman Lady Dawgs came out strong! The Lady Dawgs started out the first set very energetic and with good sprits. The Lady Daws showed great improvement in all their skills while playing against the Raiders. 

During the first set the Lady Dawgs had strong serve receive, and a lot of action on the net. The Raiders defense kept the Dawgs on their toes and contentious volley was played. The Lady Dawgs fell to the Raiders in the first set 23-25. 

For the second set the Lady Dawgs lost their communication flow and hte ball had dropped a few too many times. Although playing hard and hoping to make a comeback the Raiders pulled ahead and the Lady Daws lost the second set, and game overall 19-25.
