In Game 1, Ionia battled hard but came up short, falling to Saranac 0-22. Miah Wittenbach went 1-2, Gena Rogers went 2-2, and Kaylynn Wizorek went 1-1. Taylor Ferris led the way on the mound. 
 

The Bulldogs saw offensive improvements in Game 2, scoring three runs but ultimately taking another loss (3-26). Gena Rogers and Kaya Clark not only pitched for the Bulldogs but also had standout performances at the plate, both going 2-2. Miah Wittenbach, Aubrei Nash, and Kaylynn Wizorek each went 1-2, while Analina Falcon went 1-1.  

Although the results didn’t go their way, the Bulldogs are eager to continue improving throughout the season. They look forward to their home opener on March 24, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
