The Ionia JV Girls Softball Team split against Chippewa Hills on Monday, May 9th. The first game was a great win 18-2 with some quick 3 up 3 down innings against Chippewa Hills. Kaidence Thomas pitched and went 2-2 with 2 walks, Tate Piche and Jadine Bigger both went 1-1 with 2 walks. The second game was not as easy for the Bulldogs as they struggled to regain a lead after giving up 3 runs in the first. They lost this game 6-14. Tate Piche continued her good game 2-2 with a walk. Kaidence Thomas and Jadine Bigger went 1-2 with 2 walks. The Girls now have a 10-6 record. Their next game is Thursday, May 12th at Waverly.
