CEDAR SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 8
The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against Cedar Springs we lost 0-8.
The first half 6 goals got through our defense. The second half we found our groove and stayed strong and only let 2 goals through the whole 30 minutes. Addie Bowne was a huge asset to the team in the middle whether it was stopping the ball or clearing the ball to move it forward. And Cora Nummer slayed it on outside midfield, stopping numerous cross balls, and being there to move the ball forward for the team.
This leaves the JV at a total of 2-0-3. Our next game is Thursday, April 18 at 5:30pm. Where we will face off against Ottawa Hills High School, at Ionia High School.
