The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against St. Johns we lost 0-7.

We held tough the first half and only let 3 goals get in. The second half we started our strong, but lost our momentum and another 4 went through. Kayra Vasquez Ybarra had 20 saves on goal for the team, out of the total 27 shots. Angie Reyes and Bailey Hewett were able to move the ball up and out quite a bit to Enma Rio Miravalles and Addie Bowne where we were able to get it up to Maddie Lemke upfront for a few shots on goal.

This leaves the JV at a total of 2-0-2. Our next game is Monday, April 15 at 5:00pm. Where we will face off against Cedar Springs, at Cedar Springs High School.
