EATON RAPIDS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against Eaton Rapids. This was our first lost with a score of 0-2.
It was a well fought game where Eaton Rapids scored their first goal right away. Then were awarded a penalty kick to get their second, in the first half. Kayra Vasquez Ybarra had 14 saves on goal for the team!! While Angie Reyes, Olivia Clark, and Bailey Hewett kept the ball out the rest of the half and into the second on defense for the Bulldogs! We were able to get 8 shots on goal from our offense, but unfortunately this time around nothing was able to sink in.
This leaves the JV at a season total of 2-0-1. Our next game is Saturday, April 13 at 10:00am. Where we will face off against St.Johns, at Ionia High Sch
ool.
