The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against Everett. It was a shut out that we won 9-1!

Maddie Lemke scored 3 goals getting assists from Enma Rio Miravalles and Addie Bowne. Amelia McGee scored 2 goals, from a penalty kick and an assist from Maddie Lemke. Kayra Vasquez Ybarra scored 2 goals getting assists from Kiarra Goodsell and Cora Nummer. Bailey Hewett got 1 goal with an assist from Maddie Lemke. Addie Bowne scored the last goal for the Bulldogs! Our defense with Olivia Clark, Angie Reyes, and Lizbeth Garcia leading them, were able to make great steals to move it forward and keep the ball off our side, and up the field. Where our midfield with Kiara Goodsell, Carly Valera-Benavidez, Alexis Fugitt were able to take it and move it further! This was an amazing team win!

This leaves the JV at a total of 2-0-0. Our next game is Thursday, April 11 at 5:30pm. Where we will face off against Eaton Rapids at Ionia High School.
