The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against Hastings for our last game. It was an amazing game that we won 2-0!

Maddie Lemke scored our first goal off of a break away! Jackie Rojas got her first ever career goal from an assist from Makayla VanAllsburg!! Our defense with Katie Leonard, and Angie Reyes leading them was able to keep the ball off our side, moving it up to Bailey Hewett and Amelia McGee, and Sadie Wilson in the middle to move it forward. Tammy Ledesma stopped 2 shots against us in the first with Kelila Rustin stopping 3 shots in the second. Our exchange students Ariana Castelo-Tracet, Abril Jimenez-Santamaria, and Giulia Trani were such a great addition to us this year and they will be missed as they go back home. 

This was a team win tonight! These players worked so hard all year, ending the season with 3 total wins. The most ever for JV girls soccer!!!
