The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against Waverly. It was a rough game that we tied 0-0.

Our defense with Katie Leonard leading them was able to keep the ball off our side, having Tammy Ledesma needing to stop only 5 shots the first half and Mimose Sandborn 3 shots on goal the second half. Ariana Castelo-Tracet, Sadie Wilson, Kylie Leonard, and Taylor Weber ran hard for the midfield moving that ball upfield. Amelia McGee and Addie Bowne did a great job up top with a total of 15 shots on goal we just weren't able to get any past their keeper

Ionia girls JV will play their next game on Saturday May 13 at 12:00pm against Coopersville at home.
