The Ionia Girls JV soccer team went against Lansing Catholic. We took the win 2-1.
Maddie Lemke scored the first goal with an assist from Abril Jimenez Santamaria. Bailey Hewett scored the second goal from a penalty kick. Katie Leonard along with Angie Reyes helped the team in back, with Tammy Ledesma saving 10 total shots on goal.
Ionia Girls JV will play their next game on Friday May 5 at 4:00pm against St. Johns at St. Johns.
