BELDING HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Ionia girls jv soccer team started off their season with a tough battle vs Belding. We fell short by a score of 3-1. It was the first high school soccer game for many of the girls. We played hard and continue to grow every day.
Bailey Hewett scored the lone goal for Ionia. Amelia McGee recorded the assist. Kayra Vazquez, Katie Leonard and Kylie Leonard were leaders on the defensive end.
Ionia girls JV will play their next game on Wednesday March 29 at 5:30 at home.
