Ionia Varsity Bulldogs Stymied By Saranac Varsity RedHawks

 

Ionia Varsity Bulldogs had trouble keeping up with Saranac Varsity RedHawks in a 13-3 loss on Wednesday at TBD.

 

Ava Bowen started the game for Ionia Varsity Bulldogs. The pitcher gave up 13 hits and 13 runs (eight earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking two. Allison White opened the game for Saranac Varsity RedHawks. The starter surrendered four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six and walking two.

 

Alli Shaw led Ionia Varsity Bulldogs with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day.
