The Lady Dawgs finished their season on Saturday in Portland. In the district semifinal Ionia avenged an earlier loss in the season by defeating Hastings 9-4. In the district final Ionia fell to the host Portland 18-3. All 9 Lady Dawgs reached base at least once on Saturday, and Kaidence Thomas led Ionia in the circle once again getting the win in game 1. Ionia finishes its season at 10-26.
