Rajalyaj Esquivel Shines at the Plate in the Ionia victories over East Lansing. Five hits from Equivel paved the way to victory for the Bulldogs, she singled in the first & second, tripled in the third & fifth and homered in the seventh, Raj scored 3 runs and collected 3 RBI's. Erin Groom went 3 for 5, Ionia ended up with 13 hits in the game. Esquivel was also in the circle and went the entire game allowing 5 runs on 5 hits and struck out 5. The Bulldogs commited 6 errors in this game, we have got to clean things up in order to move on successfully. The final score of this 7 inning game was Ionia 10 & East Lansing 5.

Game 2: Rajalyaj Esquivel Smacks a Grand Slam in the 6th inning for the Walk-Off  14 - 4 Mercy. Raj definetly had the Hot Bat tonight as she ended up going 3 for 5, scoring 3 runs and collecting 4 RBI's. Karter Edwards went 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs and collecting 1 RBI, Londyn Brown went 2 for 3 with a walk, scored one run and collected 2 RBI's, Kam Perry went 2 for 3 with one walk and scored one run, Erin Groom went 3 for 3  with one walk, scored 2 runs and collected one RBI, Rachel Siemen was 1 for 2 with 2 walks and one RBI, Emma White went 1 for 1, scoring one run and collecting one RBI, Alexias Daugherty was one for 3 with one walk and she scored 3 runs. Chloe Witter got the start and lasted 3 innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and struck out 2,  Chloe also stepped to the plate and hit a shot into right center and drove in a run. Melayna Braman came off short stop and threw the next 3 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits and struck out 5.
