Game 1: Ionia was defeated by Coopersville 7 - 3. Victoria Gutierrez threw  one and two-thirds innings surrendering 3 runs on two hits, walking 2 and 3 HBP's. Melayna Braman came in with bases loaded and threw the final 4.1 innings giving up  4 runs on 7 hits, striking out 3.The Bulldogs suffered 4 errors during this game. Offensivley the Bulldogs were led by Raj Esquivel going 2 for 3 with one walk.

Game 2: Ionia Downs St. Johns 7 - 3. Chloe Witter was in the circle and lasted 5 innings, allowing 6 hits and one run, striking out 3. The Offense was led by Londyn Brown going 2 for 3 and scoring 2 runs, the following players all had one hit: Alexias Daugherty, Raj Esquivel, Erin Groom, Chloe Witter, Rylee King and Melayna Braman.

Game 3: Heavy errors cost Ionia the game losing to Greenville 13 - 3. The Bulldogs took a 3 - 0 lead into the 4th inning  with 2 Yellowjacket players on base the Bulldogs committed 3 errors in a row  allowing 5 runs to cross the plate. Then in the 6th inning the Bulldogs went down 1,2,3 and again errors after hits allowed the Yellowjackets to score 5 more runs and mercy the Bulldogs. Melayna Braman threw 5 innings giving up 9 runs on 11 hits, striking out 5, Raj Esquivel came out of center field to throw one inning. 

The Bulldogs are 12 & 13 and we travel to Charlotte on Tuesday for a league double header and then next Friday we host Lakewood and we are honoring our 2 seniors ( Catcher Erin Groom & First Base Rachel Sieman) at the end of the games. #goblue
